Black Bruin Transfer Success (BBTS)
The main purpose of BBTS is to create an empowering space for people of Afrikan descent who have transferred from a California Community College, other Universities, and out of state institution to UCLA. Their goal is to have a network of support to help transfers maximize their experience as a Bruin.
Bruin Guardian Scholars Program (BGS)
The formal mission of the Bruin Guardian Scholars Program is to provide current and former foster youth with the necessary resources to excel at UCLA. Through academic enrichment opportunities, public outreach activities, financial assistance, and monthly career workshops, the Bruin Guardian Scholars aims to dramatically increase the success rates of foster youth transitioning out of care. We believe that the only way to truly help foster youth who are entering college is to provide them with tangible opportunities to realize their personal and educational objectives.

Business Transfer Network (BTN)
The Business Transfer Network (BTN) at UCLA was created to give transfers the resources they need to have a successful career. This is a great group for transfers who are interested in pursuing careers in business to bridge the gap between academic life at UCLA and the professional world outside of campus. Their goal is to help transfers develop their network of UCLA peers, UCLA staff, and working professionals in order to get their foot in the working world.
Chi Alpha Psi
Chi Alpha Psi is a co-ed fraternity for transfers! The group’s aim is to create a social community of transfers students who are committed to their education, and principles of philanthropy.
Improving Dreams, Equality, Access, and Success (IDEAS)
Improving Dreams, Equality, Access and Success (IDEAS) welcomes immigrant students and those who support their struggle for equal opportunity in their university education. IDEAS is the official voice of undocumented students at UCLA, and they provide students with the resources and support needed to ensure their retention in higher education.
National Transfer Honors Society Tau Sigma (Gamma Psi)
This is the only transfer-specific honor society on the UCLA campus that recognizes and celebrates transfer students who earn a 3.5 or higher GPA their first quarter at UCLA. An email will be sent out to all eligible students after their first quarter with instructions on how to join the honor society. A formal induction ceremony is planned every year to celebrate our newest members, usually taking place in Winter or Spring quarter. There is also an active leadership team that hosts regular membership meetings and a variety of different social and academic events.

Non-Traditional Students Network (NTSN, The Network)
The Network is a support system for students returning to higher education after pursuing other life goals. They function as a facilitator of resources, and provide advocacy, community, and support for the non-traditional student. The primary mission of The Network is to be a social and institutional support net for the diverse and growing demographic of non-traditional students who, although large in number, are often over looked in a system geared toward tradition.
Parenting Students @ UCLA
Parenting Students at UCLA serves a diverse population of students and is dedicated to providing assistance and support of the academic and personal success of student parents and those with dependents at UCLA. As a supportive community, they are committed to increasing students’ access to and awareness of campus resources and enrichment opportunities. The group also promotes campus and community engagement that enrich and support students' academic and professional goals.

Pilipino Transfer Student Partnership (PTSP)
PTSP at UCLA is an organization dedicated to easing the transition of and guiding Pilipino Transfers throughout their years at UCLA and beyond. PTSP also aims to raise awareness about cultural and academic issues regarding the transfer experience by advocating the needs of transfer students, providing a space for student support and encouraging leadership and community responsibility.

The Pre-Law Transfer Society at UCLA is the leading organization on campus dedicated to the educational advancement of UCLA Pre-Law Students. We are an organization dedicated to the ideals of diversity and inclusion, and this includes serving the needs of students who come from underrepresented communities and from non-traditional backgrounds. Our assistance is specialized but not limited to ethnic minorities, community college transfers, and individuals who have overcome adversity in their life and have a desire to achieve their dreams. We achieve the ideals of our mission statement through hosting specialized workshops/Q&A sessions with the top law schools in the nation, hosting LSAT prep companies, and bringing in special guests in diverse areas of the law, entrepreneurship, and business
Santa Monica College To UCLA (STUN)
The SMC To UCLA Network, guided by a commitment to the True Bruin values of Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Service, and Excellence, provides connections for students transferring to UCLA from SMC to foster relationships; support academic endeavors; mentor and encourage new students; provide social opportunities and networking.
Student Opportunity and Mentorship Program (STOMP)
We are excited to introduce you to a program where you can use your transfer and academic experiences to help other transfer and community college students make the transition to UCLA. The Student Transfer Opportunity and Mentorship Program (STOMP) is a volunteer based campus organization established by UCLA transfer students to provide educational partnership to students at community colleges.
Student Veterans Association @ UCLA (SVAUCLA)
SVA's sole mission is to provide military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and after graduation.
Transfer Undergraduate Students of Hillel (TUSH)
TUSH (Transfer Undergraduate Students of Hillel) is an organization under the umbrella of Hillel at UCLA that caters to the needs of incoming and returning Jewish transfer students at UCLA. Our mission is to create a smooth transition for transfers into the college experience at UCLA.
USAC Transfer Student Representative
The USAC Transfer Student Representative Office addresses the collective needs of all UCLA transfer students. The representative functions as a facilitator of resources, providing advocacy and support for this group’s unique needs. They also are responsible for bringing transfer students concerns to the administration and the council.
The Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement Office (SOLE) is the department that advices all of the student-led organizations on campus. There are currently over 1000 student organizations to choose from! You can find a listing of all of the student groups at UCLA by searching this database.
Included in the over 1,000 student organizations at UCLA, are 17 transfer specific/transfer attuned groups on campus. Each organization hosts their own events and activities to serve the Transfer Community and their specific membership.
If you do not see an organization that fits your needs or interests, SOLE can assist you with starting a new organization! More information on the process here. There is usually only a short period of time each quarter that you can register a new organization, so do not delay!
